Global Career Accelerator logo

The Global Career Accelerator supports emerging factual filmmakers, digital producers and content creators ready to take their careers to the next level and bring their work to audiences around the world. The program welcomes talent working across science, history, natural history and non-fiction, including film and television, digital media, social media, gaming and multimedia.

The program is designed to welcome and support diverse emerging talent, reduce barriers to participation, and encourage a new generation of members within the international WCSFP community.

Selected participants receive accreditation to WCSFP 2026 in Tallinn (November 9–12) and one-to-one mentorship, with Tier 1 participants also receiving travel and accommodation support. Participants also receive legacy discounts on accreditation for WCSFP 2027 and 2028, helping them continue building relationships within the Congress community in the years ahead. Submissions are closed for 2026.

Supporting access to WCSFP:

The Global Career Accelerator is supported in part by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

Additional access to the Congress is made possible through Partners in Production, a WCSFP initiative bringing together industry companies to help emerging and underrepresented voices participate in the Congress and build lasting connections within the international factual community.
