Featuring exceptional sessions, dynamic networking, and The Buzzies—awards for excellence in science, history and factual storytelling—Congress '24 in Marrakesh, December 9 to 12, will offer members the opportunity to connect with colleagues around the world and will welcome new faces from emerging territories and markets.


Registrations for the 2024 event will open in late summer. For reference, below is registration information from Congress '23.



INDIVIDUAL RATES (Congress '23: Seattle)

The earlier you register the more you save! Rates will increase as we approach capacity. Exchange rates are estimates. All fees are charged in CAD, and the amount that appears on your statement is based on the exchange rate on date of purchase.


Associate Producer / Indie Producer / Student Rate: $720 CAD (539 USD, 495 EUR, 423 GBP)

Registrants using this rate must be under 35 with less than five years of industry experience OR science communicators creating and distributing content via digital platforms OR post-graduate scientists focused on public outreach/digital platforms. If you register but do not meet the eligibility criteria, your registration will be cancelled without refund.


GROUP RATES

Membership & Media Policy

The World Congress of Science and Factual Producers is open to anyone involved in the creation, development, production, communication, financing and distribution of specialist factual media content with specific focus on the genres of science, history and natural history. Once registered, all delegates are considered members of the organization and welcome to participate in the annual plenary session at the end of each Congress.

Media accreditation for the WCSFP is open to select trade publications, and only a limited number of media representatives will receive accreditation. Please direct all media inquiries to media relations manager Juan Gonzalez-Calcaneo.
