Britt Wray is a science storyteller, interactive documentary producer, radio host and PhD student at the University of Copenhagen where she studies science communication and synthetic biology. Britt has hosted and produced for several national radio programs at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, such as Ideas, Spark, Think About It, and Radio 3. She is also the creator of a forthcoming interactive documentary series about genomics produced by the National Film Board of Canada. Britt has filmed in Morocco with National Geographic Television and her freelance productions have aired on WNYC’s Studio 360 and the hit podcast Love and Radio. Her first book The Rise of the Necrofauna, which is about a new scientific movement to recreate extinct species known as de-extinction, will be published in the fall by Greystone Books and the David Suzuki Foundation imprint. She has taught science communication at several institutions, including Oxford University.
