Jennifer Cummins, Producer, Heiress Films (Australia)

Jennifer Cummins is the principal of Heiress Films, a boutique factual and documentary company, specializing in intimate stories and science-based television. Amongst her credits are Hotspell, a ten-part series tracking the hopes and spelling skills of thousands of Australian children (SBS), From Korea with Love, the story of a young couple’s experience with international adoption (SBS), and I, Psychopath, an extraordinary road trip with a corporate psychopath (forthcoming on ABC). Heiress is currently in production on Life at 5, the next installment in the Logie-nominated series for ABC TV, which follows 11 children in their first seven years, drawing on the latest science of child development. Heiress is also in pre-production on a three-part series exploring the science of happiness (ABC TV) and a documentary film about one woman’s journey into gender identity. Before establishing Heiress Films, Jennifer was Manager Factual Development at ABC Television, and prior to that she produced and directed programs for a range of networks in Australia and overseas.
