Hoda has been producing programs in Canada and internationally for over a decade. Her passion for factual programming has united her with like-minded producers and writers from around the world and allowed her to work on a diverse range of television projects. She recently produced a stunning one-hour documentary for the Food Network, called The Recipe Diaries, which followed renowned cookbook authors, Jeffrey Alford and Naomi Duguid, as they traveled to the Indian subcontinent to collect material for their new book; Who’s Afraid of Happy Endings, a captivating one-hour documentary about the world of romance fiction for BRAVO!. She is the creator and producer of the dynamic TV romance series called The Letters: Rediscovering the Art of Courtship, and the highly popular magic series for kids called Spellz. Hoda has also produced: biopics on jazz legend, Oscar Peterson (CBC), distributed worldwide by Universal Music; and on renowned stage and screen actor, Christopher Plummer; a series for History Television - Growing Up Canadian and The Great March (docudrama); and a one-hour documentary special for Discovery, called The Secret Lives of Butterflies. Currently she is in production on a new children’s science/math series for TVOkids, The Prime Radicals; and is completing financing on a 6 part doc series about early Islamic science.
